Proterosuchus is an early archosaur that lived on earth in the Permian and the Triassic. It is smaller then it's competitor the Gorgonpsid.
The great dying
When the extinction happened, the Proterosuchus went into ponds to cool down. It is later seen hunting a Gorgonpsid. The Proterosuchus is one of the few survivors of the biggest mass extinction.
Errors
It never appeared in the Permian period but it appeared during the early Triassic.
